Sara's Dress

Saraā€™s dress is a joyful story of a young girlā€™s fierce independence. An exploration of how what we wear can make us feel powerful and the importance of embracing change.  For children aged 4- 11 and their grown ups.

Sara's new dress makes her feel so confident and happy that no matter how messy or torn it becomes she has decided to never take it off!  Sara has so much fun collecting a year of memories in her dress, but she is growing and one day she realises that she has become stuck. Her exasperated parents have tried all the tricks in the parent handbook but nothing has worked! What can they do to help Sara be the fabulous unique and vibrant individual she has always been, but in some clean clothes!

The whole journey to freedom begins with a bit of spilt yoghurt...

Join Heather as she tells the story of a year in the life of Sara and her favourite dress. This feel good interactive story entwines Sara's nervous first day at school through the seasons of the year, experience halloween, dip your toe into Christmas, visit the beach and let loose at a dance party. Loads of fun for children aged 4 - 11, this story show will keep the whole family enthralled.

The Book Gobbler

Iā€™m so excited to be part of the fantastic Jersey Festival of Words this year, join me FREE for this brand new story, inspired by our brilliant Libraries!

The Story Keeper loves the books in The Magical Library where the aisles go on for miles, full of all the stories ever written or told...but reports are coming in of books with missing pages, pictures that  have disappeared... someone  is stealing all the happy endings! 

 Thereā€™s a rumour going round (in nervous whispers) that the Book Gobbler is causing mischief at storytime and The Magical Library is next on his list ! 

 Come along and help the Story Keeper save her magical library, where  everyone is welcome, stories are powerful and no-one is ever alone. 

Iā€™m thrilled to return to Jersey library with this magical tale that gets right to heart of the power of a story and the importance of our libraries.
