Sara’s Dress
Sara’s dress is a joyful story of a young girl’s fierce independence. An exploration of how what we wear can make us feel powerful and the importance of embracing change.
Sara feels so powerful in her birthday dress she decides to never take it off! She feels confident and happy wearing her beloved birthday dress, no matter how messy or torn or small it becomes. Sara is growing but refuses to change, she literally becomes stuck in her dress! Sara’s family though exasperated by her stubbornness learn to accept her big feelings, they help her to feel free as the fabulous unique and vibrant individual she has always been. Sara has so much fun collecting a year of her life onto her dress, the whole journey to freedom begins with a bit of spilt yoghurt.
